Twitter just drains your attention and doesn’t really give much back - except it is fun to play with (the same applies to jaiku if used without the phone). If you have a compatible phone you could try jaiku instead. It actually gives back useful information in useful places (everywhere your phone has coverage)

I know it can be an interruption, but I find it a nice diversion that breaks up my day. Now that you’re on Twitter, it’ll also give us Kinkless junkies a fix until your next article.
