Hi,
New to OO and KGTD. As I view the video I see the need to use the delete button. Is this because OO doesn’t have an active link between items and can’t create aliases? It looks like your sync button doesn’t actually “sync” items but creates additional items that match others. Am I understanding this correctly?

Sorry for the duplicate post. Don’t see how to delete.

Did your do a successfull

That is it - the best way to get this sorted for the future is to email Omni from OO and tell them you need aliases or cloning. This would make kGTD much better, and simpler, as well as OO for other uses. I have, and the more that do the more likely they will be to put it in. I think that this is the one significant omission of this otherwise fine outliner.

I would like to see it working so that: if you change any one (including its note) they all get changed; if you delete a clone the others remain; if you delete the original all get deleted.

You nailed it. kGTD is

You nailed it. kGTD is basically “poor man’s aliasing” via applescript, along with some other stuff. Stuff like frosting — there’s lots of frosting in kGTD. And sprinkles. Oh, and styling and iCal sync and all that jazz. But the frosting is the important bit.

Anyhow, I think Omni may have a secret research lab in the Nevada desert where they are building aliasing functions out of dark matter or something, so they may already be on the case, but they might not be able to talk about it outside of the laboratory.
