Action edits get lost when syncing

the edits that i make to Actions in any of the Context sections are lost when i sync. what am i doing wrong?

The post above was by me.
I was having problems signing in because i had forgotten my password and the junk filter in Mail.app didn’t like the automated emails that sent me a new one. Moreover, kinkless.com didn’t like my drupal.org login.

Whoa! I just found all my Next Actions! when I look in the list of titles of Contexts, THERE they are ! ?? they disappeared from the “Actions-ToDo list when I clicked on the sync button, and were moved over to the Context List. bummer. I did not think I was that stoopid. help, please? thanks tony

Earlier, I wrote that my next actions were disappearing when I clicked the sync button. NOW I realize that it is necessary to make a generic list of activities, and the Next Actions must be subsets of them, in the Actions folder. these must be typed in, manually, and THEN they appear as they did in the original movie. only the sub-items should be given a context…. Not the general heading they are under. Obvious when you know the answer, right??
it would have been nice to know this ahead of time … I had the impression that once I made the context items in the first file list (in Contexts) they would appear on the list of activities automatically. bad assumption. other than that… great good stuff tony
